Audio recording and concert documentation for the West Virginia Youth Symphony. This included mastered concert recordings and a spring remote concert production — similar to the work I did with River Cities Symphony, but with a youth ensemble which brings its own set of considerations.
The remote concert was a COVID-era production where we needed to deliver a performance experience to an audience that couldn’t be in the room. The audio mastering was the critical piece — a youth symphony performance has to sound polished enough to represent the program well while still sounding authentic to the ensemble’s level.
